Abe Page 3

I expected to walk into this place, find the girl I got a lead on, who would point me in the direction of her brother—hopeful and excited that her street-gang brother had caught the eye of an actual MC member. Instead, I found a fiery redhead who had no time for me and gave me an earful in return.

Nothing about Alexis was ordinary, and I had been stunned by the electricity in the air when I first saw her. She had shoulder length bright red hair, and large green eyes and a pale smooth complexion which made her cheeks look pink when she was angry. She was petite and short, the store uniform she was wearing seemed too big for her and I wanted to punch the face of the guy who had his hands on her shoulders.

Despite her frail delicate looks, Alexis had a loud voice and she wasn’t afraid of using it. She had made it very clear to me that she wanted me to stay away from her brother, which did nothing more than make me more determined to find him.

If this was what Oz’ sister was like, I could only imagine what he was made up of. I was tempted to nearly recruit her to the MC!

I got on my bike and looked at the doors of the store again. What was I hoping for? That she would appear, running to me, apologizing for kicking me out of the storeroom? I knew she’d felt it too, that unmistakable charge in the air. I wanted her, my cock throbbed in my pants at the very thought of her and I knew that she wanted me too.

No matter how hard she screamed for me to stay away from her brother, the truth was there was lust between us and I felt like I would explode if I didn’t fuck her.

I rode away from the supermarket, now I had no choice but to visit each and every haunt of the Romanos and try and find Oz. This was what I wanted to avoid. I thought it would be way easier to just get the information from his sister, but Alexis had made the whole situation much harder. But she hadn’t stopped me.

One by one, I went to every bar in the neighborhood, asking around for Oz from the Romanos gang. I got some information as to where he could be, but the kid seemed to be hiding himself pretty well today. But I was going to find him, even if it took me all day. I was determined to bring him to Church and test him out myself.

I’d heard good things about Oz, the six foot massive chunk of a kid. He was known on the streets as the hard-hitter, his punches were apparently legendary. These street kids got into fights without guns, dealing mostly in petty robbery and mugging. Oz was supposed to be climbing up the ladder pretty quickly, he had caught the eye of a lot of people. When I heard this, I knew that I needed to test him out. He would make the perfect first new prospect to the Marked Skulls.

We needed a young member, a fearless guy who could punch as well as he could run. It would only be a matter of time before I could train him to use a gun properly, and the rest of the tricks in our trade. It wasn’t too long ago that I was a street kid just like him, when Fred brought me under his wing and introduced me to Lewis and the rest of the MC.

Joining the Marked Skulls had changed my life, even though I mostly worked at the garage. It gave me a sense of purpose and a set of brothers who were the closest thing to family I ever had. Now, it was my chance to give that gift to a few other deserving kids, and I was curious to find out if Oz was going to be the first one.

I kept riding around town, following leads as to his whereabout, till I finally arrived at a dive bar that looked promising. I parked my bike outside its doors and strode in.

It was past noon now, close to four, and already the drinking had gotten heavy in here. The bar was filled with cigarette smoke and was loud with heavy metal playing.

I recognized a few local guys at the bar who nodded their heads at me. When I caught sight of the ginger-haired guy at the pool table, knocking his can of beer with another guy’s, I knew instantly that he was Oz.

I started walking towards them, and the other kids, who were clearly a part of the Romano group, started nudging each other. Oz turned around to look at me, squinting his eyes because he was suspicious.

“Oz,” I said his name and he clenched his jaws. He knew who I was, he’d seen my patch already and I could sense that he was amping himself up for a fight.

“Yeah, so what?” he asked and I grinned at him. I liked him already.

“Abe,” I said and stretched my hand out to him. I needed him to know that I wasn’t here to cause trouble.

“From the Marked Skulls,” Oz said and gave me his hand. We shook and I could sense his friends talking behind him.

“Is there somewhere we can talk in private?” I asked and he furrowed his brows.

“What’s this about? We’ve stayed out of everybody’s territory,” he said, putting down his beer on the edge of the pool table.

“Trust me, you’ll want to hear this. You can relax, you’re not in trouble and neither are your friends,” I said, looking at the Romanos behind him. Oz looked over his shoulder at them too and clenched his jaws.

“You have a smoke?” he asked and I nodded. We walked out of the back of the bar together and I pulled out my pack of cigarettes for him.

“Your sister know you smoke?” I asked him grinning, as I lit a cigarette for him. Oz was leaning against the back door of the bar while I stood in front of him.

“My sister? What do you know about my sister?” he asked and I shook my head.

“Nothing. I don’t know anything about her, anyway, I’m here to talk to you about something else,” I said, eyeing him carefully. The rumors were true, for a twenty-year old with no training, this guy looked strong. He seemed intelligent too, just the candidate we needed.

  “What?” he asked.

“A position has opened up in the Marked Skulls for a new prospect, and I’ve been hearing good things about you,” I said and Oz’ eyes immediately lit up. He threw the half-smoked cigarette to the ground and straightened himself.

“You want to patch me in as a prospect?” he asked and I smiled.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself, kid. We need to test you out first. All I know about you is what I’ve heard, I need to see you in action first before we can make a decision,” I told him and Oz was laughing, like he couldn’t believe his luck.

“Oh fuck man, this is fucking great! I can’t believe this is happening. I’ll do anything, tell me what you need me to do,” he said, pacing up and down in the alleyway.

“Just relax, kid. I’ll come to you with a plan when the time comes, I just wanted to know if you’re interested,” I said and Oz nodded his head excitedly.

“I’m more than interested, man! This is exactly the sort of shit I want to do. I want some serious work!” he continued in the same excited voice and I laughed, thinking about how badly he was going to disappoint his sister.

“I don’t believe your sister would like to hear that,” I said and Oz stopped pacing, crossing his brows at me.

“You know Alexis or something? You keep bringing her up!” he exclaimed and I shrugged my shoulders.

“I went to her store, asking about you and she nearly chewed my head off,” I replied and I could see Oz looking embarrassed.

“I’m sorry about that, man. She just doesn’t get it. She’s too scared that I’m going to get myself killed or something,” he said and I nodded.

“But you’re not, are you?” I asked and Oz straightened himself again.

“It’s not going to happen, I’m good at cheating death,” he said and I blinked at him when I heard those words. I thumped his back and started walking away from him.

“I’ll stay in touch,” I called out to him and walked to my bike.

It had suddenly struck me that he was just a kid, and that bringing him into the MC would make me responsible for putting his life on the line. If I hadn’t met Alexis, this realization wouldn’t have mattered to me so fucking much.

  Chapter 6

  Alexis

I was waiting in the living room, pacing around, staring at each tick of the clock. When Oz jiggled the key in the lock outside, I breathed a sigh of relief. He walked in, this time without any fresh cuts or b
ruises on his body. At least none that were visible.

“Did he find you?” I screamed, before he even had the chance to shut the door. Oz rolled his eyes and walked straight past me to the kitchen.

“Oz! Did he fucking find you?” I raged, following him and he stopped and turned to me.

“Yeah, he fucking did. I spoke to Abe, from the Marked Skulls and he told me just how much trouble you caused him. Jesus, sis, why can’t you just stay out of this?” Oz threw his arms up in the air from frustration. I could feel my lips quivering. I hadn’t doubted for a single second that Abe wouldn’t go after Oz, even though I had threatened him not to.

“Where is he? Where do these Marked Skulls guys hang out?” I shouted and Oz turned from me again.

I fell on him, banging my clenched fists on his back and screaming.

“Tell me where he is! I want to fucking talk to this man!”

Oz crouched away from me, not daring to lift a finger against his sister.

“Okay, fuck, fine! At a bar called T-Bone. Maybe he’ll be able to talk some sense into you and get you off my back,” Oz grunted and I turned from him and rushed to pick my jacket off the hook.

“Alexis! I really want this. Don’t screw this up for me!” I heard him yell after me as I banged the door shut.

I didn’t care about what Oz thought he wanted. I was going to make sure that he didn’t join the ranks of the Marked Skulls, that was for sure.

I drove to the bar where Oz said I might find Abe. There were loads of muscle cars and bikes parked outside and I jumped out of my car in a hurry. I could feel the anger and the adrenaline pumping in my veins. I wasn’t going to let Abe get away with this, I wasn’t going to let him lure my baby brother into his lair.

I walked through the door, being greeted by loud music and the smoke of cigarettes in the air. I waved my hand in front of my face, to look through the smoke and I could feel my eyes burning.

The bar was full to the brim with people, some just ordinary locals while many were bulked up biker men in similar leather jackets to Abe. Some heads turned to look at me. I was instantly marked out as an intruder, but I didn’t care.

I squared my shoulders and lifted my chin up in the air and strode in, making for the bar. When I drew closer, I caught sight of him.

Abe was sitting at a table, surrounded by other men who looked like him and a few scantily clad women. There was a girl sitting on Abe’s lap, she had her arms wrapped loosely around his neck and she was laughing, while a cigarette dangled from the corner of Abe’s mouth. I recognized the girl…she was a local stripper; Vanity or Charity or some name like that.

Abe was talking to the guy beside him, and he hadn’t noticed me walking towards him. I stopped in front of the table, with my hands stuffed into the pockets of my jacket.

The fact that I was still dangerously attracted to this man hadn’t gone unacknowledged.

“I need to talk to you,” I shouted, trying to make myself heard over the loud music. All the heads at the table turned towards me in unison and Abe’s blue eyes settled on me. I realized once again, just how handsome he was. Sharp eyebrows, like his jaws and nose, soft lips and narrow blue eyes. His hair, golden and closely cropped, looked like velvet.

“Didn’t expect to see you in a place like this,” Abe said and he patted the stripper’s ass, playfully pushing her off his lap. She giggled and jumped up, walking over behind him now and wrapping her arms around his neck again.

“I need to talk to you. I told you to stay away from my brother!” I exclaimed and I could hear the sizzle in my voice. The others at the table exchanged looks, and looked at me with smiles. There were two women there too, on the arms of the other two men. They looked a little worried for me.

“And I told you that I was going to find him and talk to him,” Abe said and stubbed his cigarette out on the surface of the table.

“What is this about?” one of the girls, who had tied her blond hair in a braid, asked. I glared at her, trying to get the words out of my system but Abe interrupted me.

“Nothing to worry about, Lila. Alexis here just needs a reality check,” Abe said and looked at me again, as he slowly stood up.

“She doesn’t get to order me around,” he added and I thrust my chin out at him.

“No, it’s not an order, it’s a threat. If you don’t stay away from my brother…” my voice trailed as I tried to think fast.

“What will you do?” Abe asked and I clenched my fists in my jacket.

“I’ll kill you,” I said and the others exchanged looks again.

Abe lunged at me and I screamed. He had grabbed me by my waist and was lifting me up in the air. I kicked and screamed some more while I sensed him carrying me somewhere, away from the bar area.

“Let me go! Let me fucking go!” I screamed and he didn’t stop, kicking a door open with his foot with me still tightly wound in his arms.

“No, you need to learn to behave yourself,” he growled and banged the door shut behind him.

Abe let me go and I sprang away from him, glaring as I faced him in the small storeroom. Unlike the one in the supermarket, this one was filled with crates of alcohol and was much smaller. One single light bulb swung from a chord between us and Abe looked at me with a calm expression on his face.

“So, you want to kill me?” he asked and crossed his arms over his chest. He wasn’t wearing his jacket right now, and his bulging biceps were on full display for me. There were intricate dark tattoos on his arms, just like the ones crawling up his neck and I couldn’t stop picturing his cock. A massive throbbing cock hanging between his muscular thighs.

“I will have to, if you don’t stay away from Oz,” I hissed and Abe threw his head back and let out a laugh. I watched him laugh with rage burning inside me. None of this was funny to me.

Abe finished and then looked back at me again, his eyes narrowed at my face.

“Alexis, I’m telling you now that you can’t just walk into an MC bar and threaten a member’s life. I probably saved your life out there. Any of my brothers could have pulled a gun on you,” he growled and the smile had disappeared from his face.

I kept my chin up and stared back at him.

“I don’t give a shit,” I said and he took a step towards me. Once again, he was backing me up into a corner.

“Oh yes, you will, Alexis, when you have the barrels of guns facing you,” he said and now he was just an inch away from me. His hot breath fell on my face, shaking the strands of red hair that had fallen over my eyes. I could breathe in his scent again, there were goosebumps on my skin. I could feel a throbbing in my pussy, a wetness was spreading. I hated myself for wanting him, for not pushing him away.

“I just want you to stay away from Oz,” I cried out and Abe reached out for my face. He pressed his palms into both my cheeks, squishing my face and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. His touch was rough and strong, I was putty in his hands. I could already feel myself melting away.

“But see, that’s not what he wants. Your brother was excited to talk to me and I like that kid. I want to give him a chance,” he said, peering into my eyes and I felt a sinking feeling in my heart. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to hear it. I wanted to do something, to do anything that would make this man not influence my brother, and at the same time; I wanted him to keep holding me, to keep touching me.

Abe growled and released my cheeks, taking steps away from me and I felt the air rush back into my lungs again.

“You’re fucking wrecking my head!” he grunted and ran a hand through his velvety blond hair. I watched him, as he bunched up his fist and punched the door.

“Oz is just a kid, he has a bright future ahead of him, away from all this, away from this neighborhood. If you influence him, if he gets in with your MC…there won’t be any way out for him,” I said, in a softer, weaker voice and Abe whipped around to me.

“And what the fuck is wrong with
my life? What is so wrong about me, Alexis?” he growled and charged towards me again. I gasped, pinning myself to the stack of crates behind me and he stopped himself, just inches from grabbing me again.

Abe narrowed his eyes at me.

“What are you really doing here, Alexis? You and I both know that you’re not going to stop me from doing what I want to do. Why did you come here tonight?” he asked, in a deeper guttural voice.

I gulped. Suddenly, my throat had gone very dry and I felt like I couldn’t breathe anymore. He was right, I didn’t know what I was doing here anymore. I was powerless against him. What did I think I was going to achieve by screaming at him?

“Answer me, woman!” he growled and grabbed the crates behind me with both hands. He was shielding me with his body, making it impossible for me to escape. Not that I wanted to go anywhere. I wanted to stay right there where I was, protected by his body.

“I don’t know,” I replied meekly and Abe clenched his jaws as he glared at me angrily.

“Well, I know what you’re doing here. You came here looking for me because you wanted to be fucked,” he said and I panted roughly. I couldn’t breathe anymore. He was holding my gaze firmly, while he brought his face towards me.

My lips parted mechanically, I couldn’t stop them and within seconds, Abe’s tongue was parting them even more. Our lips fuzed hungrily and his tongue slid into my mouth, devouring me. I felt his rough hands on my hips, pulling me tightly to his chest as he kissed me and I felt like I was sinking into him, like I was completely losing myself.

I couldn’t think about Oz right now, I couldn’t think of anything other than Abe’s lips on mine, and his hands slowly crawling up my t-shirt to cup my breasts.

  Chapter 7

  Abe

I squeezed her small breasts with both my hands and Alexis moaned into my mouth. I was still kissing her and she was kissing me back harder. I could feel her hips pressing into my sides. With my tongue in her mouth, I quickly slipped the jacket off her shoulders, grabbing her breasts again.
